Genetic Defect

Had fun on this one. Found a basic brush I'm really liking. I don't like the legs, I may need to do a lower body study of human anatomy soon.

So I came across an image online, and when I saw it tiny on my desktop I had to do a painting. The original image is from star trek. Check it out.

Creation Tale Illustration

"The beginning"

This is an illustration for my creation tale class. This is the mass of creatures that would form after darkness, the first god, began a reaction of fire. This mass would then detonate, and create the sun and all the other heavenly bodies within the solar system.

I put this project down after awhile but Eventually I'll pick it up again. Just like all my OTHER pieces I've put down before. It's called simply "Bounty Hunter" A character dressed in western style clothing with a scifi twist to him.

Self Portrait skin tone practice

Bleh, this is based off of a distorted picture I took in photobooth. I was trying to work on some skin tones but it looks a little flat. Lacking alot of contrast. Just posting this because I thought it would be interesting and perhaps I could get a crit from a few people. Took about an hour and half ish?

So I got a little frustrated, and walked away from the piece for a bit. Then I got mad at myself and came back to rework it, this is the next stage of the piece.

Then a little bit of creative freedom. The title of the piece if I continue with the theme will be "The Birth of the First Dragon"

It's Still a WIP...perhaps I'll finish it for next Tuesday.
The first image and the last two images are about 2 hours apart.
